The .45 ACP Casing Pen combines genuine spent .45 ACP brass with hand-turned hardwood to create a distinctive writing instrument that's built one at a time in the BourbonSmoke Woodworking shop.
Each pen begins with a hardwood blank that is individually turned, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand. A genuine spent .45 ACP shell casing is incorporated directly into the upper barrel, giving the pen its signature look while maintaining the comfortable profile and smooth operation of a traditional twist pen.
Because every piece of hardwood—and every spent casing—has its own character, no two pens will be exactly alike.
